I had the pleasure of working with various performance groups on our biggest yet stage show and immersive performance piece, back in December for a corporate Christmas event booked by A-List Business.
Myself and the talented Jamii Carmen Prince managed the group and despite not having long to pull it all together it all went very well and got a great response from the audience!
We had our Hoola Cru girls on the fire and LED, moving around the venue adding more depth to the experience. Stella’s DFA kids dance crew were a pleasure to work with, especially the stars of the show, Olivia and Oscar who played the lead roles as the Nutcracker and the Princess. We also had the great pleasure of working with various other people from Steamship Circus, Pantheatrix and our drummer Joe and our wonderful, gruesome King Rat, who Laurie our facepainting artist made pretty savage-looking! He was a real master with the sword fighting parts, very impressive and an honour to do battle with on the stage!
As we are no longer just the Hoola Cru and may be outgrowing the name, we have now got a new brand “Stagecraft Collective” for all our bigger shows like this one.
We have now got our video back from Seb Sax and Roberto how both helped capture footage and make us this show reel.
